Service & Internships
As part of our mission to foster collaboration, The Hague School offers students regular opportunities to engage in community service. Our close proximity to Norfolk’s central innovators, charities, and creative organizations has resulted in our partnering with The Generic Theater, The Elizabeth River Project, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, The Norfolk Botanical Gardens, the Norfolk Police, and CHKD to design unique service projects and internships that align the service requirements of the IB curriculum with experiential learning. By sharing their talents, skills, and energies, Hague students develop connections with mentors and community members that can foster a sense of community-mindedness and responsibility they carry with them throughout the rest of their lives.
