Be part of the rising tide of community support we need to ensure the Hague School’s promise lives on.
In a short five years, The Hague School has demonstrated that a new educational institution with affordable tuition, combining the Harkness discussion pedagogy and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme curriculum, can graduate diverse students prepared to excel academically at top universities and lead in a complex world. We are so proud of our founding Class of 2023 graduates and the promising students following in their footsteps!
With the appointment of lifetime educator and Norfolk legend Michael Spencer as our new Head of School this fall, and with a burst of fresh energy from faculty, students and families, the heart of The Hague School -- its unique student culture, its teaching quality, its close interpersonal relationships, its family involvement -- beats stronger than ever.
The challenges of the past year have brought to light The Hague School’s urgent need for financial support beyond student tuition. Our goal of $500,000 in 2024 positions the school to close the gap between yearly tuition revenue and operating expenses, while creating a financial reserve -- something any mature school should have. We owe it to our students to protect and preserve this incredible place we've built. Join us in shoring up the finances! Make an investment in the future of education in Norfolk.
